The customer is bound by the general terms and conditions of business, which are valid at the time of purchase (submission of an online order).

MakeSomeSweets undertakes to provide the customer with the following information at all times:

b) contact information that enables the user to communicate quickly and efficiently (e-mail),

f) all prices must be clearly and unambiguously specified and it must be clearly shown whether they already include taxes and transport costs,

g) method of payment and delivery,

h) time validity of the offer,

i) the period within which it is still possible to withdraw from the contract and the conditions for withdrawal; in addition, also about if and how much it costs the customer to return the product,

j) explanation of the complaint procedure, including all information about the contact person or customer service department.

Order and prices:

The purchase contract between the MakeSomeSweets online store and the customer is concluded in the MakeSomeSweets online store at the moment when we send the customer the first email confirming his order. From this moment, all prices and other conditions are fixed and apply to both MakeSomeSweets and the customer.

The Purchase Agreement (i.e. the first order status email) is stored electronically on the MakeSomeSweets server and is available to consumers upon their written request.

Delivery time:

All orders placed on weekdays before 10:00 a.m. are shipped the same day if via Paypal, Stripe or by credit/debit card. We send orders marked with pre-payment as soon as we receive the transfer to TRR. Orders placed during weekends and holidays are shipped immediately on the next business day. In the case of products where a longer delivery period is specifically marked, this is taken into account.
In the case of ordering a virtual e-product, you will receive it within a few hours after receiving your payment. You receive e-products to the email address you entered when placing the order and to your user account at www.makesomesweets.com.

Payment methods (business terms):
The MakeSomeSweets online store allows the following payment methods:
  • by pre-invoice (UPN order) to the company’s account,
  • with PayPal
  • with a payment or credit card via Stripe (Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron, BA Maestro)

Packaging and delivery costs are free for purchases over £50.00, packaging and delivery costs £9 for orders up to £50.00.
In the case of ordering only a virtual e-product or e-products are not charged for delivery.

Issuance of an invoice
After delivery and payment of the ordered items, MakeSomeSweets also sends the customer an invoice in pdf format to the customer’s e-mail address.The price and all costs related to the purchase are detailed on the invoice.The buyer is obliged to check the correctness of the data before placing the order.

Discount codes:

The discount code or promotional code brings various advantages when purchasing through the MakeSomeSweets online store. You can find the activation code on the front page of the advertising message, in the email message [email protected] or in other media. The code brings various benefits, from various gifts to discounts. Any code is always limited in time, and must be used within a limited specified period, otherwise it is invalid.

Using the discount code:

• Choose the products you want to buy and put them in the basket.
• At the checkout, enter the discount code in the “coupon code” box and click the “REDEEM COUPON” button.

• Only one discount code can be applied per purchase.

• When you enter a discount code, the value of the discount code is automatically deducted from the price of your order. There remains an amount that still needs to be settled.

Purchase process:

I. Product selection: On the website www.makesomesweets.com, select the product and click on the “Add to cart” link. A basket with successfully added products is displayed on the right side. If you want to complete the purchase, click on the right link “Checkout” and the system will take you to complete the purchase or “Show basket” and the system will take you to your basket.
III. Shopping Cart: You must complete the required fields to complete your order.

  • 1. Delivery address: You must provide the required contact information marked with a red star (name, surname, e-mail address, address, city, postal code and phone number), which we need to confirm and complete the order and deliver the product.
  • 2. Delivery cost: The delivery cost is set at £9 in collaboration with the Royal Mail delivery service.
  • 3. Payment method: You can choose from five payment methods: Payment by advance invoice, Paypal payment, payment by card, via Apple Pay or Google Pay..
  • 4. Coupons and gift cards: If the user has a valid discount coupon or gift card, enter it in the appropriate field and click the confirm button.
  • 5. Order overview: The products that the user has added to the shopping cart while browsing the online store are displayed. The price of the product, the cost of postage, the value of VAT and the total cost to be paid are visible in the shopping basket even before the order is completed.

IV. Completion of the order: The user can review the delivery information provided, the payment method chosen and the contents of the shopping cart. The user confirms the order by clicking the ‘Buy now’ button. If the order was successfully completed, a table is displayed on the website showing all the details of your order.

Removing a product from the shopping basket: On the website www.makesomesweets.com, there is a shopping basket icon in the upper right corner, in which (after clicking on the icon) the user is shown the products that have been added to the shopping basket while browsing the online store .If the user wants to remove a certain product from the shopping cart, he must click on the cart icon and the “remove” cross. If the user wants to add a specific product to the cart, he must click on the “Shop” link. By clicking on the mentioned link, you will be returned to the online store.

Purchase notification procedure:
  • After submitting the order, the buyer receives a notification by e-mail that the order has been accepted.
  • MakeSomeSweets may call the customer’s contact phone number to verify information or to ensure delivery accuracy.
  • The purchase process for legal entities is exactly the same as for natural persons, except that at the end of the purchase, enter the name of the company and the tax number of the company. There are also the same payment options.
The consumer’s right to withdraw from the contract:
  • In the case of contracts concluded at a distance, the consumer has the right to unequivocally notify the company by e-mail ([email protected]) or through some other communication channel within 14 days that he withdraws from the contract, without having to state the reason for his decision.   • The consumer must return the goods to the company no later than 14 days after the notification of withdrawal from the order. The consumer returns the goods to the address: MakeSomeSweets, Bukovica 53, 1217 Vodice, Slovenia. The only cost charged to the consumer in connection with the cancellation of the order is the direct cost of returning the goods.
  • The consumer must return the item to the seller undamaged and in the same quantity, unless the item is destroyed, damaged, lost or its quantity has decreased through no fault of the consumer.
  • When returning the goods, the consumer also sends the invoice for the goods and personal data and the transaction account to which he wishes to receive the returned payment. We will refund the payment within 14 days of receiving the notice of withdrawal from the contract.
  • In case of withdrawal from the contract where a promotional code or discount code was used, these funds are considered as a discount and are not returned to the user. Only the paid amount is returned to the user’s TRR, and the promotional code is also returned to the user in the form of a new code. In case of withdrawal from the contract, the gift voucher is considered as a means of payment and returned to the user as a gift voucher.

COMPLAINTS:

In the event that the ordered product does not have the characteristics and features that the seller expressly promised, or the seller sent the wrong product (in the wrong quantity, in the wrong color, etc.) or if it differs in some other way from the order, the buyer can complain about the goods by written notice , which he addresses by email at [email protected].

In case of incorrect delivery of the product, the buyer must immediately notify the seller, who will try to resolve the complaint as soon as possible. The buyer must notify the seller in writing about the complaint and send the product to the seller’s headquarters, describing the defect in detail and specifying the complaint request. The buyer must also attach a copy of the invoice in addition to the goods with all attached accessories. The seller will respond to the written notice within 8 working days of receiving the notice. If he finds that the claim is unjustified, he will inform the buyer about this and return the item to him at his expense.

As part of the complaint, the buyer can request repair of the item, a reduction of the purchase price (proportionate to the defect), an exchange of the goods, or a refund of the purchase price (in this case, the purchase price may be reduced for the time of use of the item, but no more than the amount by which the item is used reduced market value). Refusal of complaints MakeSomeSweets reserves the right to refuse complaints in the following cases:

  • If the goods have mechanical damage;
  • If the buyer does not provide a copy of the invoice;
  • If the goods are sent to our address with a ransom;
  • If, due to improper packaging and shipping, there has been mechanical damage to the items or any damage has been caused;
  • If the items are not accompanied by all the equipment provided to the customer at the time of purchase;
Damage:

Taking into account the limitations on the release of liability, the seller is not responsible for: Physical damage caused by improper use, negligent or willful behavior of the buyer (or third parties from the buyer’s sphere), mechanical damage and defects in the event of force majeure or natural disasters; For damages caused by the delivery person during transport. A fault is material when:

How is the suitability of the item checked?

The suitability of the article is checked against ordinary goods of the same type and taking into account any statements by the seller about the characteristics of the goods made by the seller or the manufacturer, in particular through advertising, product presentation or indications on the goods themselves. How can the buyer assert an actual defect? The buyer must notify MakaeSomeSweets of any material defect, together with a precise description of it, at his own expense within the statutory period and allow us to inspect the item. The right to assert a material defect in the item is more precisely regulated by the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act. The provider must deliver the goods to the consumer in accordance with the contract and is liable for material errors in its performance in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. Withdrawal by the consumer from the contract for the items in the set If the consumer decides to withdraw from the contract for the items that make up the set, he can request an exchange for the same set or a refund for the entire set. The consumer can exchange the item from the set in the event of a physical defect or damage to the item, but cannot request a refund for it. In case of claiming the warranty of the item from the set, the manufacturer’s warranty period applies. Ratings, opinions and recommendations Reviews, ratings and recommendations written by customers are part of the functionality of the online store and are intended for the community of all users.
